About Japanese Student Organization at UCSC (JSA)
A student led organization at the University of California Santa Cruz that supports and promote Japanese culture through cultural events, activities, and social events.
This organization provides connection and community for both UCSC students and Internationational students who are learning Japanese, Japanese/ Japanese American culture and are ready to create a strong bond through social events. JSA hopes to create a group of young people as strong and united as a family.
JSA is associated with many other university student run Japanese Association/Unions. As well as part of the Nekkei Conncet. We strive to build connection to help improve Japanese American community and preserve Japanese tradition.
Our meeting are held weekly. More information on when and where will be posted shortly. Meeting are perfect place to meet new people with an interest in Japanese culture. During our meetings, we'll discuss upcoming events/activies, cultural presentations and work opportunities. Feel free to join us anytime.
カリフォルニア大学、サンタクルーズ校での日本人会 (JSA) について
こんにちは！
カリフォルニア大学サンタクルーズ校、そしてJSAへようこそ。数々のサークルの中から、JSAに興味を持って頂きありがとうございます。JSA (Japanese Student Association)はこの学校の日本人・日系人サークルです。JSAでは様々な日本の文化に関係するイベントを通じ、日本人や日系人だけではなく、日本の文化に興味がある人々と出会える場を作るのを目的に発足されました。
JSAは他のカリフォルニア大学の日系グループや、地元の日系コミュニティ（Nekkei Connect)と関わっています。特にカリフォルニア大学・デイビス校(JASS)、カリフォルニア大学・バークレー校(NSU)とカリフォルニア州立大学・イーストベイ校とのイベントやサークル活動に力を入れています。
サークルのミーティングは木曜日夜８時から毎週一回程度行われています。質問などありましたら、是非ご連絡ください。連絡お待ちしております。
