Hello there! This will be my third year being in the UCSC Japanese Student Association, and I have seen quite a bit over the last two years. (Both uphill and downhill.) As President, I would like to help the club that has given me so much since I started my college career and see it thrive. What's up! My name is Mitsu and I am a Politics major and Legal Studies minor. I have been part of the JSA ever since I began college. The JSA has provided an amazing opportunity for me to wholly embrace the culture of Japan. A memorable moment in JSA are IJAC, beach day, hiking and Karaoke night. As Vice President, my plan would be to educate new students interested in the culture of Japan and help plan more memorable events. The last surviving member of the Cole clan, Kenta is the sole heir to the secrets of Cole-style ninjutsu. Upon hearing rumors of a mysterious student association hidden deep in the forests of Santa Cruz, Kenta joined JSA in the hope of bettering himself mentally and physically. He currently trains in secret under the supervision of the honorable Andy Wang, his friend and a renowned 10th dan secretary master. HOLA! My name is Yoshi, 15-16 PR/Social Chair, and I have to say JSA has been one of the greatest clubs I've joined during my freshman year. JSA's activities are a great opportunity to connect with your heritage and learn about the Japanese culture.
Definitely, my most memorable moments are karaoke, beachday, and IJAC.

Hello my name is Anthony for those who don’t know me I am currently a 2nd year and a Technology and Information Management major. I have only been in JSA for only two quarters and have been enjoying every bit of it. It is a pleasure being able to meet new people and getting to know them as I got more involved in the club. I hope to achieve in making the club a lot more fun, interesting, and overall a great experience for everyone.

Hello, my name is Tomo Yamaya! I will be your fundraising chair for this school year.
