First JSA Meeting!!

Hello there!
Thanks to everyone who was able to come out and attend our first general meeting!
For those who were unable to attend, here is a brief recap:
-51 attendees
-If you are taking Japanese or would like to brush up on your skills, we are offering FREE Japanese tutoring sessions! It's a great way to meet fellow JSA members and learn about Japanese language and culture! The sign-up sheet can be found here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1-GWKfbvvY5Yj6ho9UIsxZSDFu9-YfEHXgdb4uGd--As/viewform
-For those of you who are interested in working in Japan in the future, be sure to check out abroad.inc, a human resource recruitment company that works with top Japanese companies to find promising young candidates on college campuses nationwide (http://www.abroad-inc.com/english).
-Also, the first workshop for JK Family Hip Hop, a partnership between JSA and Korean American Student Association, is happening Thursday, October 8th, from 8:30-10:00 PM at Namaste Lounge, College 9. If you're interested in KPop, JPop, or American Hip Hop, be sure to check it out!
-Finally, tomorrow is our beach bonfire! I know all of you can't wait, but here's some more info to help clear things up:
Our on-campus meeting location is Quarry Plaza. We will have two bus groups - 4 pm and 4:30 pm, heading downtown separately. Afterwards, there's still a bit of a walk to get to Seabright Beach. If you have any questions, or are driving there and need directions, please contact our president, Andy Wang, at 510-366-1608.
-The date and time of our next general meeting will be announced.
Thanks, and have a great weekend!
